2022 General Terms & Conditions

Bay Of Quinte Golf & Country Club Membership Agreement
Members of the Bay of Quinte Golf and Country Club agree to abide by the terms and conditions set out below.

General Terms:

  • A 2022 membership is effective from time of purchase to November 1, 2022. 

       2022 member rounds expire June 1, 2023. 

  • Members can book a maximum of one tee time per day.
  • All golfers are responsible for any damage caused to The Bay of Quinte Golf and Country Club 
  • The course may be closed periodically throughout the season for course maintenance and special events.
  • Daily tee times will start at 6:00 am and finish at 7:00 pm and may vary throughout the season.
  • Valid proof of age is required for intermediate players.
  • All Members agree to abide by all protocols and procedures put in place as the result of  Covid 19. These protocols will be strictly enforced for the safety of staff and patrons.  Failure to follow these mandated protocols can result in fines, membership suspension or both.
  • All members (Signature, Intermediate Club 22, and Junior) are eligible to participate in all club events. Some events may have an additional fee.
  • Members and their guests must abide by BQGCC rules and regulations and respect the rights of other members, guests and staff. Failure to do so will result in the member’s privileges being suspended. Suspended members are not entitled to any refund. 
  • A $100 administration fee is included in the price of all membership packages.


Cancellation Policy:

A reservation may be cancelled up to 72 hours in advance of the playing date either through the website or by contacting the pro shop. The pro shop must be contacted in order to cancel a reservation within 72 hours. Any cancellation made less than 72 hours prior to arrival will be charged the full green fee.  If the pro shop is closed, please leave a detailed message stating your cancellation request.  If your tee time is subsequently filled, a cancellation fee will not be charged. As an alternative, members needing to cancel under the 72 hour notice period are welcome to find a substitute player to take their time to avoid a cancellation fee.

Rain Check Policy:

  • Rain Checks will be issued under the following conditions:
  • Where significant rainfall or lighting conditions has persisted for a minimum of 30 minutes (no earlier). Pro shop staff will record the time that rain begins and rain checks will be issued no sooner than 30 minutes after such time.
  • Drizzle or light rain is not considered in the guideline.
  • Each golfer should carry an umbrella to provide rain protection in the event of rain or thunderstorm.
  • Rain checks will not be issued simply because a player has become wet because of lack of rain protection gear.
  • The Pro Shop attendant will issue either a 9 hole or 18 hole rain check depending on the number of holes completed.
  • Rain checks cover green fees and power carts.
  • Members will not be charged a cancellation fee if their round is cancelled due to rainfall at the course.  They must contact the pro shop if they are uncertain about the weather conditions at the course.


Dress Code:

The Bay of Quinte Golf and Country Club has a dress code for all participants. We require “proper” golf attire. For men: collared golf shirts, golf shorts or golf pants. For Women golf shirts (if sleeveless it requires a collar), golf shorts, skorts, or pants. There is absolutely no denim, cut off sport shorts, tracksuits, or “short - shorts” permitted - The Bay of Quinte Golf and Country Club is also a “soft spike only” facility - no metal spikes allowed.

Club Etiquette:

  • Consideration and courtesy of fellow members, guests, and employees of the Club is expected at all times.
  • Proper attire is required. Members will abide by the dress code in effect for both the golf course and the clubhouse.
  • Foul language and abusive behaviour will not be tolerated.
  • Smoking is not permitted in the clubhouse, pro shop or other structures at the Club.
  • Pace of play is rated at 4 hours and 20 minutes for an 18 hole round.
  • All golfers, (including members, guests and green fee players), will check in at the pro shop or with the starter before teeing off. They will follow proper golf course etiquette, including pace of play, as well as any local rules that may be in effect.  Failure to check in prior to play will result in the immediate suspension of your membership.
  • All members and guests will obey the laws of Ontario, including the Liquor Licence Act, while at the Club. The Liquor Licence Act forbids bringing outside alcohol to the Club and drinking alcohol while operating a power cart that is in motion. There will be no  exception to this policy and membership will automatically be suspended without refund for violations. Additional information about the Liquor Licence Act can be found at the Club office.



Member Charges:

  • Dues, fees and charges for food, beverages, merchandise and services, together with any applicable taxes or similar charges, will be forwarded to the member at the end of each month and charged to the credit card on file



I/We acknowledge reading and understanding the General Terms and Conditions and further acknowledge that the Bay of Quinte Golf and Country Club may suspend or terminate a member for failing to abide by these Terms & Conditions.
